This beautiful evergreen tree has glossy foliage that is light green in color. The new foliage comes in with a tinted red color. Eventually, this tree becomes quite large in size (50'-60' tall and 60' wide).

The 'Krauter Vesuvius' is a smaller growing, flowering plum that grows to 18' high by 12' wide. Its leaves are purplish black throughout the growing season, and the flowers have a light pink color.

The 'Double Sunburst' is a wonderful cultivar and a showy, Southern U.S. native. Golden yellow, double flowers on 2' bushy plants bloom from June to September in full sun and average to dry soils. This broad-spreading evergreen produces dense, glossy foliage that is 4" long and oval in shape. Open, loose clusters of white flowers with a rose tint bloom in spring and summer. This shrub serves as a good specimen, hedge, or screen. This variety should be grown under sun or partial shade.

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.
